I think something might have been patched because I'm suddenly getting random drops here and there (in the Shadowlands), like 2-6, sometimes twice a day, but never the first creature I kill for the day.
I'm so glad I paid extra for a broken quest chain to get a transmog I might not use. Shadowlands has officially dropped, been questing for two days now, killing plenty of critters everywhere and STILL not getting a single echo to drop. Feel good knowing that people who did NOT pay for the higher tier versions of the expansions are able to do this quest without any issue or having to pay extra to do so. There is no explanation given and no solution found to make the echos drop as Blizz ignores all inquiries with the standard "we can't help you" ticket response. If you looted less than 6 Echo of Mortality on the first loot of the day, then I have two extra recommendations for you:Ī) You grind just enough to loot the 6th Echo of Mortality for the day, so you can be done with the quest by a week.ī) If you don't mind the wait and don't want to spend 20+ minutes grinding an extra 1-2 Echo of Mortality in a day, then work on the quest for a few more days looting them naturally from daily reset.***Ĭomment by JeoleneIf you're like me and you've had this quest for a long time and are still not seeing a single echo drop, don't fret, you're not alone. ***I added the fact that some people have experienced looting 4-6 Echo of Mortality instead of 6. But if you loot less than 6 naturally per day, then follow the recommendation down bellow. My recommendation is just split up the work over a week if you don't mind the wait. Today when I logged in and looted a big group I looted 6 right away, then after 30 mins of grinding I looted 2. Yesterday when I first picked up the quest and looted a big group, I instantly looted 6, then after 40 mins of farming I looted 3. In like 30-60 minutes! Lots of options there! Which is why this should, or will be nerfed! Let's say you get your bags full of 80 green items. TO NOTE: It's also a nice gold grinding place! Or, if you are into Engineering in BfA and crafting Expulsom with the Scrapper. I look like a mage now as a rogue :PĪLSO WARNING: This will be nerfed in the future! Make it as soon as its possible that way. What I kinda dislike is the chest transmog. I believe that drop rate algorithm has been designed that way to be slow in the beginning and at the end. Super easy grind! Some friend said he made it in 4 hours. At 35 it was painfully slow to get even that one. Then the next 25 were pretty fast actually only about 1 hour. Getting first 10 took "forever" about 1h 30min. At first it started to look like a grind that will take 8 hours, or so.

You can be killing mobs A and still loot mobs from C location. Mobs can be at different locations like A-B-C, but you don't have to be at location B to loot from B.

Loot table should be kinda like free to all. Try to find groups, which are not in Raid mode, but more like normal dungeon 5-man groups. You can find a lot of groups from Custom Raids. But didn't work quite like that :DĢ) From here I found out about the Blood Gate grind place. This took me a while to figure as no-one didn't tell me there is an Orb in a mount! I first went to Nazjatar, or some related BfA place and mounted up hoping the quest will pop up. You have to be on GROUND! So that it spawns. Click it and then the Eternal Traveler Xolartios will spawn. and then learning there is a Guiding Orb just behind the seat of the mount.
